Dr. Ibrahim Saif

Dr. Ibrahim Saif  is currently an Independent Consultant based in Amman serving on several boards, until May 2023 he was the  Vice President for Manaseer Group, previously, he served as a  CEO of Jordan Strategy Forum , also he served as the Minister of Energy & Mineral Resources from March 2015 to June 2017, and the Minister of Planning and International Cooperation from March 2013 until March 2015. Prior to his appointment as a Minister, Saif was a Senior Scholar at the Carnegie Middle East Center, and served as a consultant to the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund and other international organizations. Saif was also a Former Director of the Centre for Strategic Studies at the University of Jordan, and served as the Secretary General of the Economic and Social Council in Jordan. He has taught at both the University of London and Yale University, where he led courses on the economies of the Middle East.

Mr. Youssef Habesch

Mr. Youssef Habesch, has more than 25 years of banking and investment experience.  He is IFC’s Regional Manager for the Financial Institutions Group – Advisory / Upstream, covering the Middle East, Turkiye and Central Asia. Prior to that he was the Resident Representative in West Bank & Gaza and Country Manager for Yemen, responsible for IFC’s strategy, investment, and advisory programs. He was also IFC’s Climate Change Anchor for the Middle East and North Africa region.  Youssef started his career at IFC as an Investment Officer working on financial restructurings, and investments mainly in the banking, infrastructure and tourism sectors.

Prior to joining IFC, he worked in Investment Banking at Banque Paribas out of their Paris and London offices, with a main focus on the banking and infrastructure sectors in the Gulf region.  He started his banking career with Cairo Amman Bank in Ramallah, where he helped advance the corporate banking and investment department. Youssef has an MBA from the George Washington University.

Ghassan Omet

Ghassan Omet is a full professor at the Department of Finance / University of Jordan where he has been since 1990. During his career, Professor Omet held several related posts including Dean of Economics Hashemite University) and Dean of Academic Research (University of Jordan). He is the author of many peer-reviewed publications and numerous conference papers. His research focuses on pricing and operational efficiency of stock markets, financing of listed firms, financial development, and bank performance. Currently, Ghassan is the Director of Research at the Jordan Strategy Forum.

Mahmoud Jarbou

Mr. Mahmoud Jarbou has more than 20 years of experience in the field of banks, financial institutions, and Microfinance sector

His experience were distributed within Jordan, North Africa, and the Gulf region, in several areas, most notably in areas such as credit risk and risk management

Credit and legislative compliance, where he served as risk and credit manager at Libyan Saray Bank in 2014.

He was a credit analysis officer at the UAE’s First Gulf Bank in 2010, in addition to several positions in banks.

He worked as a local credit risk officer at the BLOM Bank and a corporate relations manager at the Bank of Jordan during his work he carried out several projects, building work teams, establishing and restructuring banks, etc....

He joined Microfund for Women Company in 2014 as company's chief risk officer, and currently holds his position the Risk and Compliance Manager.

Mr. Mahmoud holds a master’s degree in financial management and a bachelor’s degree in accounting ,finance and banking from Yarmouk University, in addition to several accredited specialization certificates in his field of work

Jurgen Hammer

Jurgen Hammer is the Managing Director of the Social Performance Task Force (SPTF) based in Luxembourg. Before opening SPTF's European office in 2019, Jurgen was Chairman of the Board of Directors SPTF, directly in charge of strategic outreach, and for over 10 years Chief Risk Officer and Head of Social Performance Management at Grameen Credit Agricole Foundation (GCAF), an investor in financial inclusion and social business. 

Jurgen’s involvement in financial inclusion started in 2006 when he joined EFSE (European Fund for Southeast Europe), a leading investment fund for the Balkans. Prior to returning to Paris in 2008 for the set up and launch of GCAF, he managed the technical assistance program at JAIDA, the local structured investment fund created to finance and support microfinance institutions in Morocco. Jurgen continued his involvement in Morocco as an independent Board member of JAIDA until 2016. He also serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at ACAD Finance, a rural MFI in Palestine.

·Lead the institutional transformation of PAMF (Première Agence de Microfinance Madagascar) by implementing the digital banking projects, including the nano loans and nano savings, and the market strategy to promoting entrepreneurship.  PAMF has 500,000 cutomers base and 50% of whom are women. 20 Branches 520 staffs (50% are women). PAMF contributes to the financing of the Malagasy Economy to the tune of USD 70 millions per year.

Ziad AL Refai

Ziad Al Refai has over 25 years of experience in the fields of small and medium enterprises, microfinance, financial services, financial solidarity, and economic development. He possesses extensive expertise in poverty alleviation programs, unemployment reduction, women's empowerment, youth employment, and vocational education. Al Refai holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and a Master's degree in Microfinance. He is a graduate of executive leadership programs at Harvard Business School and is a certified trainer in microfinance. Currently, he serves as a board member of FINCA Jordan, having previously held positions as Vice Chairman of the Board for "Sanabel" and as a board member of Ethmar Islamic Microfinance. He has been recognized as a social entrepreneur by the World Economic Forum (WEF) since 2008. Presently, Ziad Al Refai is considered an expert in the field of financial inclusion at the Middle East Foundation.

Elouwazna Bousbei

Currently Deputy CEO of Al Kuraimi Islamic Microfinance Bank, previously worked in an advisory capacity for Islamic Microfinance in several MFIs in North Africa and the Middle East over the span of 14 year, with a total of 24 years of experience in the sector.

Essam Al Hindi

Issam Shnoudeh

Issam Shnoudeh is the Chief Operating Officer of Tamweelcom. With over 20 years’ experience in the field of Microfinance, MSMEs, financial inclusion and Social and Environmental performance management .

He has acted in all management roles and worked in a several positions.

He also served as a member in many national strategic committees.

Issam holds a bachelor’s degree in business administration in addition to a many professional and international certificates and he is a certified trainer and advisor.
